Art TRIX Ster

Patrizia Grilli aka Trix is originally a native of Rome, Italy, where she graduated in Graphic Design. Shortly afterwards, Trix found herself settled in London where she soon became absorbed in the eclectic and multicultural atmosphere of early 90s London. The thriving artistic and raving scene was to be the place where she first trained as a tattoo artist, executing custom designs and tattoos for international clients and developing a highly colourful style that can also be observed in her other artworks.

Tattooing, fine art and graphic detailing styles all coexist in Trix’s artistic world – interacting and contributing equally to her creative narrative. Heavily influenced by the art she was exposed to in Italy and London and taking inspiration by nature, symbolism, pop surrealism and lowbrow movements she re-interpret, mixes and create a vibrant ecclectic style equally matched by a vibrant palette.

“My work aims to explore the mind, feelings and uncertainties of many in the modern world by examining our subconscious relationship with nature and the universe, but rather than trying to address any particular issue, it reflects on earth and soul connections by evoking safe and ethereal places, inviting the viewer to observe themselves and speculate on the path of their earthy life. “

In 2017 Trix relocated to Phuket, and opened a gallery and studio in the heart of Phuket Art Village where she execute her paintings, resin artwork and welcomes visitors from around the world.

Trix has also earned a varied portfolio of commercial and non-commercial mural work for restaurants, shops and community spaces in Phuket.
